Scholars grow and learn every day, thriving and reaching key development milestones as they learn to be on the move. We help your scholar explore the world around them and make new discoveries while providing skills as building blocks for a lifetime of learning. If your scholar hasn’t already started, walking is on the horizon as he or she makes moves to explore the world. When your scholar begins to travel, our educators are close behind to provide necessary support. Our educators consistently support their newly found movement as your scholar becomes steady on his or her feet. Our Young One’s classroom includes a soft gym to support and encourage gross motor skills, including muscle development, coordination, and balance. While all educators will have interactions with your scholar, the majority of interactions will be shared between your scholar and two primary educators. This close bond will allow your young scholar to freely explore the world around them under the watchful eyes of supportive and encouraging educators. From painting with yogurt, playing peek a boo, to singing and cooing with your scholar, we encourage your young scholar to learn through the use all of their senses. Though simple, these types of educational activities are essential to the overall well-being and growth of your young scholar. Our educators facilitate as young ones explore the world around them and will include sensory exploration activities in their daily experiences. All toys in the classroom are sanitized daily. Developmental assessments are conducted quarterly.
