Our Story

My journey in child care started out about 12 years ago at Fundamentals Early Learning Center. I began this journey as an office assistant, then working in the corporate office, later becoming a teacher, and eventually becoming a director for the Baton Rouge location. This journey has opened my eyes and molded me into the person I am today and given me a very unique perspective into what it takes to deliver exceptional child care.

God blessed our family with a beautiful baby girl named Sophia Grace in April of 2018 and a handsome baby boy named Gavin Paul in September of 2020. Becoming a mother has completely changed my perspective on life and has given me a very clear purpose and vision for the future. When the previous owner decided to sell this location, my husband and I knew this was our calling. We wanted to have direct involvement in our children’s education and give them the best opportunity to succeed in a rapidly changing world. We decided to rebrand and revamp our current curriculum using cutting edge research called the growth mindset. Our belief is that this approach will deliver exceptional childcare and development for our children and all future young scholars.
